Housing Program FAQ
Who is this program for?
We are a low-barrier, faith-based transitional housing program serving individuals and families in crisis. Our mission is to walk alongside neighbors experiencing houselessness, disaster displacement, or other extenuating life challenges — offering stability, dignity, and a path forward.
This program may be a good fit if:
- You are currently without stable housing or are at risk of losing your housing.
- You’ve been affected by disaster, domestic violence, job loss, medical hardship, or other major life disruptions.
- You are open to participating in life-skills support, recovery resources, or spiritual care.
- You are willing to live in a community setting with shared expectations and a faith-based environment.
- You or your family have lived on Maui for at least 2 years.
This program may not be the right fit if:
- You are seeking a traditional landlord-tenant rental agreement.
- You are unwilling to participate in regular check-ins, programming, or abide by community rules.
- You are looking for immediate, long-term permanent housing without transitional steps.
- You are unable or unwilling to maintain a sober environment.
What do we offer?
- Transitional housing for up to one year (extensions possible).
- Gradually scaled program fees to help build economic stability.
- Mentorship, support, and life-planning guidance.
- A dry, recovery-friendly campus.
- A supportive faith-based environment.
- Family- and keiki-friendly community.
